The Jordan Memorial Day Parade is the biggest in
Onondaga County.

Just some of the bands and groups featured in this year's parade...Jordan Elbridge Marching Eagles, The Island Band, Hit Men Brass Band, Central NY Police & Fireman's Band, Soda Ash Six, Lock 52 Jazz Band and Bagpips!  Jordan Volunteer Fireman, Old Classic Cars, Old Classic Tractor.....

Commemorative Services

Jordan's Memorial Day starts early.  Services honoring our fallen, inactive
and active veteran's take place all over the village and are open to the public.
Services include Prayer, Gun Salute by the Sons of the American Legion Post 1127 and Taps played by bugler Matt McCabe.


The services are at the following sites and times:

9:00 am Maple Grove Cemetery Elbridge Street
9:30 am St. Patrick's Church South Hamilton Street
9:45 am Jordan Village Cemetery Quince Street
1:30 pm Jordan Veteran's Memorial Pool Brutus Road

The Village service starts at 2.30 pm at the Veteran's Memorial Park on North Main.

Parade of Bands

Starting Time: 3:00pm

Parade route: Starting at the Fire Department ~ North on Hamilton Street to
North Main Street ~ Right on North Main Street to Village Center ~
Left on Mechanic Street ~ Left on Chappell Street to the Ramsdell School Parking Lot

 

And then there was Bagpipes !!!

The Bagpipers come together immediately after the parade
in front of the Masonic Hall on North Main Street
for more wonderful bag piping !
